Medical surveillance is a system of measures that assesses employees’ exposure to chemicals, extreme heat, high radiation levels, or any hazardous component to the body

• Chemicals: Arsenic, Asbestos, Benzene, Beryllium, Cadmium, Ethylene Oxide, Formaldehyde, Hazardous Drugs, Hexavalent Chromium, Lead, Manganese, Methylene Chloride, Silica
• Other Exposure to: Noise, Extreme Heat, Bloodborne pathogens

Exams should be performed:

1. Baseline exam
2. Baseline follow-up
3. Periodic
4. Biological monitoring
5. Exit exams
